About Us
Why we do what we do
Over the past several years, we’ve realized that many of the things that we value most in life are found in the outdoors and specifically at the end of a dirt road. We love setting our schedules with the sun and finding ourselves covered in dirt and sweat from a day full of adventures, sharing delicious food and drinks by a campfire with friends old and new. Vast open spaces invite the opportunity to reflect on what is truly important and makes the time we spend together and with loved ones that much more special. We love exploring new areas and revisiting old favorites, but the ever-constant truth is that time spent in nature is where we are the happiest versions of ourselves.
Whether truck-powered, human-powered, or some combination of the two, we look forward to sharing our experiences with you here and hope to inspire you to get out and forge your own adventures too!
Originally from Virginia, Brian made his way out west as quickly as he could. Equally at home at the bottom of canyons or at the top of mountains, Brian loves long walks that involve any combination of cameras, dogs, skis, or fly rods, and is notorious for jokingly saying, “It’s only an inch on the map”…! He is a connoisseur of bad jokes and also happens to be a master of taking things apart and putting them back together. Brian relishes in finding the roads less traveled and is always daydreaming about our next adventure.

A Colorado native, Christina grew up spending much of her time outside, hiking, and camping from a young age. Although the mountains have been home for the last 30-some years, Christina has fallen head over heels with desert landscapes and the desolate beauty and solitude that they can provide. A lover of silly costumes, dancing, and good food -- tacos and charcuterie boards are the way to her heart!

The ultimate adventure pup, Greta thinks there’s nothing better than time spent running crazy eights around camp in the middle of nowhere and then finally melting into a snuggle puddle inside the sleeping bag with her hoomans at night. Shy with strangers at first, but once you’re in the club, Greta will greet you with squeals and zoomies from that point on. Truly a “Heinz 57” Colorado mutt, take your best guess as to what kind of mix she may be!
